Nothing compares to the 67.2 miles of spectacular vistas of the Virginia Highlands Horse Trail that runs from Virginia Route 94 to Elk Garden, Virginia Route 600.  This trail runs through the George Washington and Jefferson National Forests.  This trail is open to horses, hikers and bikers, except that bikers are prohibited on parts of the trail.
